A Study About The Harmonious Development Of Urbanization And Industrialization In Xinjiang Province

Urbanization and industrialization are two most important powers pushing economics development and modernization forward,they are also two important respects of economic development and modernization. It have been proved that the industrialization and the urbanization are the process of structural transformation which each country must face in the economical development, and are pathways to the modernized way that must be taken by the human history. The level of the harmonious development of region industrialization and urbanization has decided the region level of economy development and thecompetitive power in the certain degree.So the research about harmonious development between industrialization and urbanization is very important in economics.At present, Xinjiang is facing the dual opportunity that Development of the West Regions and the assist by all our country. Xinjiang is given the support in the expanded opening to the outside world, the consummation of social security system, technological transformations of key enterprise, construction of significant infrastructure and improvement of ecological environment, which will promote Xinjiang's development and the promotion powerfully. But, many problems had existed in Xinjiang's urbanization and industrialization process, the incoordinate between urbanization and industrialization have severely affected economic development and social stability.Therefore, the study of harmonious development between Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization is of great significance.Guided by the theories of development economics, urbaneconomics, regional economics, industrial economics and methods of statistics and econometrics, incorporating the criteria analysis and empirical analysis.The thesis is composed of nine chapters:The first chapter is about the background and significance of the harmonious development of region industrialization and urbanization, as well as some researches of the organizationl structure and the innovation of this paper.Chapter two is about the harmonious development of industrialization and urbanization theory.Chapter three is about the analysis of Xinjiang's industrialization level and urbanization level, the necessity of realizing the harmonious development of Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization according to the need of economic development and social stability.Chapter four is about the measure of Xinjiang's industrialization level and urbanization level according to the caculation of NU, and analysis the partition of the harmonious development of industrialization and urbanization.Chapter five is about the experience that could be used for reference to the harmonious development of Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization,which include America, Latin America and Africa.Chapter six is about the countenneasures to how to realize the harmonious development of Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization according to every areas' characteristics based on the analysis that we have made,and the safeguards to the harmonious development of Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization that include infrastructure construction, social security system construction and government's support.This paper draw four conclusions according to the analysis on the harmonious development between Xinjiang's urbanization and industrialization:First,based on the analysis of the statistical data,we could find that Xinjiang's urbanization lags behind industrialization, the industrialization of Wulumuqi, Kelamayi, Shihezi, Tumushuke are all lags behind urbanization, the urbanization of Changji, Yili, Aletai,Tacheng, Bozhou, Tulufan, Hami, Bazhou, Akesu, Kezhou, Kashi, Hetian are all lags behind industrialization.Second, we find that the harmonious development of Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization is on the second stage, and find out the mechanism of interdependent between Xinjiang's urbanization and industrialization. At last, this paper bring forward corresponding countermeasures to make the two harmonious based on the present situation of Xinjiang's every region's urbanization and industrialization,and the safeguards to the harmonious development of Xinjiang's industrialization and urbanization that include infrastructure construction, social security system construction and government's support.
