With the rapid development of information society, wireless communications has profoundly changed the way people work, live and thinking, the mobile phone has changed from the original simple communication tool rapidly to people communicate, travel, consumer, entertainment and personal life of intimate partner. What' t more, With a new round of telecom restructuring curtain opened, the newly established China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom, the three telecom operators in the market environment and their own strategic resources, have changed much. At present, Hunan Mobile Company endures double pressures of full-scale competition of external environment and congenitally defect of TD technology, this paper is aim to helping Hunan Mobile Company research how to adapt itself in the new competitive environment to continue to develop its own advantage, to make up its disadvantages, to make good use of new favorable external conditions, to reduce the influence of adverse factors, so, Hunan Mobile Company can continue to advance it' s core competitiveness and lead the market.On the base of a large number of theoretical studies, the paper defines the core competitiveness definitely by analyzing the origin and the development of the theory of core competitiveness, and by studying of various views raised by scholars both at home and abroad. By the analysis of the actual competitive situation and the combination of internal with external cause which can determine the superiority, the article did detailed and in-depth analysis on Hunan Mobile Company and the entire telecom industry trends.In this paper, a SWOT method is presented to analyze Hunan Mobile Company in the new situation facing the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges described in detail. Based on deep analysis of value chain activities in Hunan Mobile Company, all activitives in the corporation are separated into the main activitives and the assistant activitives. This SWOT method leads to a conclusion that, the Business Operation Support System is the core competitiveness of Hunan Mobile Company. In the mean time, expounding the the essential elements of the core competitiveness. At the end of the paper, some effective methods about improving the Business Operation Support System are proposed.The Business Operation Support System which is very important to Hunan Mobile Company is a depth background support module. Although it' s a core part of company operation, but it' s not well-known by most people. The paper tries to arouse the attention of Hunan Mobile Company' s managers. Further research in this filed can help us promote company' s efficient low-cost operation and maintain the market leadship.
