Study On The Urban-rural Relationship In New Countryside Construction

The history of human developing is a developing history of urban-rural relationship. "The face of the community as a whole will change soon after the appearance of the relationship between urban and rural changed". Every country which tries for the modernization must face the problem of solving the relationship between urban and rural area when setting down the developing strategy. As a large agricultural country, our country has the biggest number of farming population and the most long-standing history of traditional farming. To some content, the process of realizing modernization is a process of solving the problem of agriculture, countryside and farmer finally. Resolving the problem of agriculture, countryside and farmer must deal with the relationship between urban and rural area well. Basing on the important judgment of achieving the developing stage of supporting agriculture by industry and promoting countryside by city, momentous historic mission of constructing new countryside were proposed on the fifth session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. And harmonious developing of rural-urban relationship plays a crucial role in the new countryside construction. Therefore, dealing with the urban-rural relationship correctly has great significance in promoting harmonious development of urban-rural area and new countryside construction.This thesis was presented on the background of new countryside construction and spread around the main line of development, current situation, problem and solving problem of urban-rural relationship. The urban rural theory were analyzed firstly, defining the related concepts of urban-rural relation, then urban-rural relationship's theory since liberation were analyzed systematically, and related theories on the urban-rural relationship studied by Chinese scholar were discussed. Secondly, history of urban-rural relationship since liberation was reviewed; meanwhile, reason and effect of change of urban-rural relationship since 1949 were also analyzed. Thirdly, current situation of our country's urban-rural relationship were studied and the new achievement, new problem and favorable condition of constructing harmonious urban-rural relationship were also investigated. At the end, some suggestions on the constructing harmonious relationship between city and countryside during the process of constructing new social countryside were proposed.
