Knowledge Innovation Capability Influencing Factors Of Kibs Research

In the 21 st century, with the rapid development of new technologies such as information and the network, we have entered the new time of KIBS from the old time of traditional business services. It is well known that the development of KIBS is useful for the adjustment of economic structure, change of economic development method and enhancement of the competitiveness of goods. Especially, the ratio of KIBS in GDP is regarded as one of the very important indexes of economy level in a country. In recent years, Chinese governments have paid lots of attention to the development of KIBS, and of course it is good information for the researchers and workers. But what we have to face is the underdeveloped level of KIBS in China. It is an urgent task for us to promote the development of KIBS by innovation. This paper is written in this context. What the author wants to do is to search the factors which determine the knowledge innovation competence of KIBS both from the views of theory and experience. The author hopes that what the paper has shown is useful for KIBS.Firstly, the paper distinguishes the definitions of KIBS in the form of literature review. Secondly, it gives a literature review of the relation between innovation and KIBS. Thirdly, the definitions of knowledge innovation competence are shown. Lastly, we do a literature review of the factors which have effect on the knowledge innovation of KIBS. On the base of literatures review, the author summary 5 factors which are regarded as the determination of KIBS's knowledge innovation competence, they are employee factor, technology factor, organization factor, customer factor and policy factor. Several theories have been given to explain the mechanism of influence, such as labor value theory, recourse firm theory, technology innovation theory, new institution economics, mechanism design theory, knowledge firm theory, service innovation theory and national innovation system, etc. The paper is written with the case of some kinds of KIBS.On the base of scientific and rational design of questionnaire, by the data from the survey of financial industry, the paper does further research from the view of empirical analysis. The conclusion from the empirical analysis is consistent with the theory analysis. It is true that the five factors are significantly shows positive correlation with the knowledge innovation competence. The conclusion is true both for the correlation analysis and regression analysis. The author believes that it is necessary for the government and firm to take vary kinds of measures to promote the development of KIBS.
