Since the 1990s, there has been no longer just one telecom carrier and many carriers have been founded and competed with each other in Chinese telecom service market. They have to take some methods to promote the core competitiveness themselves to take advantages in the competition and get a tremendous development.Since 2001, in order to establish a low-cost & high-efficiency running mode and take advantage in the competition, China Mobile Communication Corporation (CMCC) has begun to carry out centralized management re form.This text aims its goal in research at the centralized management reform of network operation & maintenance in CMCC G BRANCH. Firstly, it takes a general investigation in the current situation and the problems and analyzes the development trend of the telecom network, and then summarizes the necessity of the centralized management reform. Secondly, based on the TMN Theory and the Queuing Theory, it put forward three management modes that apply the domestic telecom carriers. Thirdly, it analyzes the strategic target, organization of the network operation & maintenance centralized management reform for CMCC G BRANCH and designs a running mode in light of its own characteristics. Lastly, it gives a reasonable qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation for the performance of centralized management reform in CMCC G BRANCH based on its practical experience and achievement.Based on an intensive study of its procedure and a general summary of its achievement, this text is trying to prove the necessity and the feasibility of the centralized management reform for CMCC G BRANCH, which offer a helpful reference for other branches of CMCC and other domestic telecom carriers.
