An Analysis Of The Relationship Between Economic Development And Employment In China

The economic is the foundation of the national survival and development. At the same time, the employment is the basic of social life. There are close relationship between the economic and employment. In the recent years, they effect on each other both positively and negatively. Because of the disharmonious relationship between them, the situation of unemployment is serious. In this paper, we use the research method combined abstract theory with concrete data, dynamic with static, normative with factor analysis. We can get to know the relationship between them comprehensively and systematically. Firstly, the paper discusses how the economic development created the more employment opportunities. And then try to give the reason why the economic development can't decrease the rate of unemployment by analyzing the characteristics of Chinese economic: the guidance of macroeconomic policy; the recessive unemployment in the state-owned units; the high dependence degree of foreign trade. The third part inquiry how the employment influence the economic development from the different aspects including the employment number, the labor mobility, the structure of workers and the informal employment. Thus this passage reviews the history relationship between the economic development and employment. Finally, we attempt to give suggestions to promote their sustainable development: keep the economic development speed, develop"the increasing employment economic", improve the matching grade between the economic development and employment, perfect the social support system, encourage carve-out and so on.
