Research On The Development Of Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Of Teda Based On The Theory Of Industrial Cluster

Biomedical industry is one of the four pillar industries of Tianjin economic and technological development area(followed by TEDA), but in size, it is difficult to form the output value of the same size as that of electronic information or automobile industry, causing our investment in biomedical industry is insufficient. This phenomenon directly causes that the biomedical industry of TEDA has not still developed rapidly and orderly. In recent years, the biomedical industry and the government have made great efforts to reverse this situation; the academic research institutions also actively explore and make suggestions for the development of biomedical industry of TEDA.Through the deep understanding and analysis of the current development situations of TEDA's bio-pharmaceutical industry, and combined with the traditional theories such as the theory of value chain, industrial cluster and competitive strength, the paper concludes bio-pharmaceutical industry's development environment, element characteristics and management method for TEDA and makes countermeasures and suggestions for the promotion of industrial competitiveness through the improvement of elements. First of all, the thesis summarizes the current development and research status of relative theories, such as value chain theory, industrial cluster theory and competitiveness theory, and provides a theoretical support for the analysis of development conditions and the promotion of competitiveness of TEDA's bio-pharmaceutical industry. Secondly, gives a general review of the industry's characteristics and the current development conditions of domestic and overseas bio-pharmaceutical industry, sums up some of the basic development models in building bio-pharmaceutical industry cluster both at home and abroad, strives to find some common elements of the competitive advantage of the industry in the development experiences of domestic and abroad bio-pharmaceutical industry, analyses some of the practical problems in the development of TEDA's bio-pharmaceutical industry, and reveals some disadvantages such as the incomplete industrial chain, relative dispersed resources, inadequate supply of qualified personnel and poor marketing channels, etc. Thirdly, gives a summary of the key field in the development of TEDA's bio-pharmaceutical industry in accordance with the background and current situations of TEDA's biomedical industry. Finally, puts forward that the driving force in the promotion of competitive strength of TEDA's biomedical industry is increasingly growing domestic market, strong competition from foreign companies and requirement of the growth of domestic bio-pharmaceutical enterprises, and lastly makes some suggestions and measures on how to enhance the competitive strength of China's bio-pharmaceutical industry.
