Barriers Of Knowledge Transfer During Industry-university-institute Basing On The Theory Of Super Cycle

The technological revolution as the core of computer, networking and communications occurred since the 90 years in the 20th century, drove the global economy into the era of knowledge economy. Knowledge has become increasingly the most competitiveness of enterprises. In the context of knowledge attracting increasing attention, and Industry- University-Institute cooperation increasingly popular, enterprise faced difficulties of knowledge transfer in the cooperation. And it affects cooperation results. It promotes enterprise aware of problems of barriers to knowledge transfer and to find effective ways to reduce barriers. These also need appropriate theoretical guidance. This paper studied barriers to knowledge transfer in co-production, basing on super-cycle theory and as knowledge transfer barriers the objects, with a focus on barriers to knowledge transfer.Knowledge transfer of Industry- University-Institute cooperation is a super-cycle system, with its content, features and mechanisms. This paper analyzed knowledge transfer super-cycle's mechanism from the set of super-cycle as the start, and studying the characteristics, structure and function of knowledge transfer super-cycle. Using theory and method of super-cycle, knowledge transfer mechanism and barriers are analyzed. Adaptability, path, power, and contingent factors as well as evolution are analyzed one by one. Then, from super-cycle factors, obstacles, and system three perspectives, the barriers and their effects are analyzed. Strategies for conquering super-cycle barriers for knowledge transfer on the base of mechanism of super-cycle system. There is a empirical analysis of Lianfeng Group and Shanghai Traffic University and the Institute of China State Shipbuilding 704 graduate school corporations in the industry of cooling tower industry, to verify previous theoretical analysis.The study of innovation networks based on Super-cycle has not yet been thoroughly in China, this study is only carried out some preliminary exploration, and there is a broad prospect along the complex adaptive system theory in the field of application of innovation to do further research.
