With the developing of economics,the opening up of SiChuan is deepening,and the regional market is expanding.As a inland province,SiChuan has been limited by communications and transportation in the course of opening up and expanding.Completed transportation system has became the important support of developing.Water transport is getting more and more attention in the system.The developing of inland Port Economics and constructing of water transport will develop side by side. They will propel the economic growth of the whole river basin and even a wider range regional.So,we need study entirely about the SiChuan inland Port Economics.Chengdu economic zone is the most important pole of economic growth.The GDP of Chengdu economic zone is the 50.89% of SiChuan's in 2010.The key industries such as Heavy equipment manufacturing industry,Automobile Ro/Ro and components manufacturing industry and chemical industry suit water transpotation in order to lower the cost.As the inland port of nearest closest to Chengdu economic zone,LeShan port is very important to external trading and economics developing.In SiChuan southwest with the Ming River and QingYi River, LeShan port is just one of the SiChuan four hub harbor, is currently the only heavy equipment specialized shipping ports.As the most important part of the LeShan-YiBin-LuZhou Ports,LeShan Harbor will be the idea port which ChengDu Economic Zone can link to water route and the irreplaceable point of SiChuan heavy transportation channel.LeShan port will upgrade to ChengDu port.If we want to develop LeShan Inland Port Economics Scientific,firstly,we should define words like Port Economisc,River Port and Inland Port Economics.Secondly,with the guidence of correlation theory about Regional Economics,Industrial Economics and Development Econmics,we should sum up the good and bad experiences about Inland Port Economics domestic and overseas.Thirdly,in views of these experiences,we can tap LeShan Inland Port Economics' potential.We should analyse the factors which inflence the development of LeShan Inland Port Economics including location traffic, port, industry, hinderland and so on.And then,this paper analysed the competitive power of LeShan Harbor,Yibin Harbor and LuZhou Harbor,so we could dig the potential of LeShan Inland Port Economics.For the purpose of analysing the inflence what LeShan Inland Port Economics,we should explore the rigional economics,industrial structure,industry space layout,city space layout,obtain employment,resources factors flowing and the linking of circumjacent regional.On this basis,this paper put forward suggestions on how to develop Inland Port Economics from two levels about LeShan's own government and the governments of higher levels.These suggestions included infrastructure, traffic, economy, society, labors, sustainable development,mechanism and so on.This paper can be an exploration of SiChuan Inland Port Economics.
