The progress of science and technology provide all kinds of ways and means for economics globalization. Especially for the information technology which break the restriction of time and space for economic activity, the advancement of IT become an engine for promotion economic globalization. The economic globalization is not only a opportunity, but also a challenge for domestic company.Along with a large numbers of the international company coming into Chinese mainland market, especially in the well developed consumer goods marketing. Rely on the advancing management, technology and abundant experience of taking part in international market competition, the multinational companies bring great pressure to domestic consumer product companies. The drastic competition also waken the local companies potential. In process of taking part in the competition, the more and more local companies realized that only the supply chain management be put in practice and make the most good use of all sorts resource, upgrade the company's core competitive capability, quickly response to the market variety, they can do better service to the customer. The competition of the new century is not the competition between the single companies, but the competition between the supply chaines. In the thesis, author attempt to apply the theoretics studied in MBA course UESTC and the working practice, throuth participating in diagnosing and innovating the supply chain management for a multinational company, hope to acquire the helpful experience and research for domestic consumer product company.In the article, author first expatiates that the supply chain management is a part of the core competitive capability of a consumer product company, and oppugn the concept which consider that the marketing is just the advertising ,criticize the enterprise leaders who eager for quick success and instant benefit. The author give the key point that an international first-class brand company like S company whom make success in more than 100 years, is the company management and culture build, and constant to get rid of the stale and bring forth the fresh and self-perfect, and to enhance the company competitive capability, especially the core competitive capability.Throughout the diagnosing and innovating the supply chain management for S company, author persevere in two guideline:1. Based on the characteristic and actual conditions of S company, to establish the feasibility innovating plan.2. Based on the mature supply chain theory apply, to solve the practice problem of S company.The article discuss and apply the supply chain network designing, the quick reaction system building, the POS technology, the EDI ,the product barcode identifiability , demand forecasting , management information system, and Vendor Manage Inventory(VMI). AS the S company managers meet great resistance in the supply chain innovation , the author analyse the enterprise culture affection to implement the supply chain management.In the end of the thesis, author interosculate the domestic consumer product companies' status, analyzing the main obstruct which restrict domestic companies to implement supply chain management and upgrade their core competitive capability. The thesis point out it is the key point for domestic companies's survival and evolution that to breakthrough the conservatism astriction and short-term utilitarian affection.
