With the liberalization of the China's financial market at December 11 of 2006, domestic commercial banks increased the issuance of credit cards, and university campus is one of the important credit card markets that many banks intend to occupy. Based on this background, this essay focuses on the motives for the application of the credit cards of the students, and also analyzes the students'attitude to the follow-up value-added services of banks, attributes of the credit cards and the foreign credit cards with a market survey. Then according to the analysis of the characteristics of the college students market, the author raised a number of management proposals for reference for domestic commercial banks. College students are a special consumer group. To meet their needs is the most important motive for the application of the credit cards. But they have other motives, such as attractive promotional gifts, trying new products, the purchase of convergence, comparisons, conspicuous and friendship flu. Therefore, for the banks, in order to attract the students market, a profound understanding of their motives is required.
