Rural Public Investment In Research

China is a large developing agricultural country with a majority of the rural population. Rural development, agricultural progress and improvement of the living standard of farmers all need the adequate supply of public goods. However, for the reasons of both history and reality and for both subjective and objective reasons, the supply of rural public goods in rural areas is a weak link. At present, the gap between town and rural areas mainly reflects in the gap of the supply of public goods. Effective supply of rural public goods is not only a"three agricultural"issues, but also an overall matter of national development.This paper considers that the inadequate supply of rural public goods is primarily caused by the shortage of funds. On the basis of theories about supply of public goods in the West and previous research, this paper,which chooses investment in China's rural public goods as the research theme and closely links to China's national conditions, analyzes the problems existing in the investment in China's rural public goods and proposes the ideas about how to strengthen the investment in rural public goods.The paper bases on the classical theory of public goods. First, defines rural public goods from the perspective of public goods as to provide the theoretical basis of positioning investment; Then, gives a brief view on the investment system evolution of China's rural public goods and analyzes the main problem of investment in the China's rural public goods, to provide historical and practical basis on how to strengthen investment in our rural public goods; Finally ,puts forward targeted recommendations on strengthening investment in our rural public goods.
