With the deepening of division of social labor and the rapid economic development,the logistics industry is bound to develop to third-party logistics (TPL) ,the developing extent of TPL reflects a country's development of the logistics industry in the overall level.In recent years,the Chinese government attaches great importance to the logistics industry,it has made great achievements. But compared with the developed countries, Chinese logistics industry is relatively backward,especially TPL. In view of such situation, the thesis's study objective is to explore the development of TPL, in order to promote and faster the development of Chinese TPL.The thesis thinks the development of TPL as main line. Firstly,the paper mainly discusses the background and significance and carries out a comparative study for the development of TPL both domestic and international; Secondly,the paper systematically expounded the origin and the meaning of TPL and the theoretical basis and value analysis of TPL; Thirdly,through the stydy on the developing situation of TPL at present,the author analysis of the problems for TPL's development and raises suitable developing strategies; at the same time, by learning from foreign TPL development model, sums up Chinese large enterprises TPL Group's development experience, activly explorates and constructes the TPL development model in line with Chinese actual situation; Finally,by "world-class logistics competitiveness model," the author Analysis the reasons for the development of G.P.Logistics Group,so enrichs and improves our TPL development model.TPL,as a new service model in modern logistics industry with it's unique charming, it is bound to be a mainstream of modern logistics industry.
