The paper has set up a theoretical frame to explore the self-organizing evolving mechanisms of the industry clusters, and we have also taken the manufacturing industry clusters in Wuhan as an example to carry on empirical analysis. In the theoretical part of the paper, we explored the self-organizing factors of the industry clusters. We drew the conclusion that the industry clustering system is a complex system, including economic, culture, institutional and other sub-systems. We analyzed the self-organizing evolving factors and mechanisms of the industry clusters. From the synchronic and diachronic study of the self-organizing evolution, we have set up a theoretical frame to explore the evolution of the industry clusters. In the empirical part of the paper, we empirically analyzed the self-organizing evolution of the manufacturing industry clusters in Wuhan. After our overview analysis, we explored the diachronic evolution of the manufacturing industry clusters in Wuhan. We empirically studied the self-organizing factors, the generation, and the evolving mechanisms and the process of manufacturing industry clusters in Wuhan.Making use of the above conclusions, we have also given some suggestions on how to improve the competence of manufacturing industry clusters in Wuhan.
