Study Of Government Functions In The Social Insurance System In China

Social insurance has been so much more concerned by society, since it is one of the most important functions of modern governments and "the stabilizer" of the modern society. With more than hundreds years' development, social insurance system was and is being improved and making essential contributions for social development and stability in some developed countries. However, the problems do exist in the process of operation. Those mainly focus on the inexact positioning of governmental functions in the field of social insurance, which causes governmental functions can not play the efficacy that it should play. In fact, social insurance can play an efficient role to largest extent with the effective involvement of the government. The experiences and lessons provide important inspiration for the government administration in our social insurance. Nowadays, the social insurance in our country is beyond perfection, and the behavior of government is lacking of effectiveness. It is essential for us to conclude and analyze the behavior of governmental administration of developed countries about social insurance. After deeply analyzing the current situation of our social insurance on the basis of comparison, this thesis systematically provides how to formulate and optimize the objective-orientation, fundamental principles of governmental functions regarding our social insurance, and gives the proposals on how to increase the efficiency of governmental functions in order to search for the new ways of how to develop our social insurance.
