In recent years, the automotive manufacture and correlative automotive components industry develop rapidly in China. The project management applies in the process more and more. The project management structure brings into effect availably or not is the important thing in project management. Commonly, for some companies in the especially period there only have suited PM structure but not best.This dissertation made comparison and analysis of several different styles of project management structure such as function, matrix and project styles, and expatiated of the advantages, disadvantages and adaptability of those different PM structure. Discussed the application of the performance management and prompting rules in project management, and what kind of different style of performance management and prompting rules for different project management organization structure. Based on that and real cases of one company, made analysis of the reasons and advantages, disadvantages of different project organization chart, performance management and prompting rules which used in several different phases of project management development in this company. Then summarized the good experiences and applied them in the process of establishing project management department in the new plant of this company. Finally I established an effective project management department in the new plant which is suitable for it in the current phase.
