| Intrapreneurship means those kinds of entrepreneurial activities inside the corporation to get innovative results, with the authorization and guaranty for resources, after the corporations have grown up to a certain level. To speak concretely, intrapreneurial activities mean the entrepreneurial activities of new business creation inside the existing corporations. It can cause the foundation of new branches and the development of new business. To carry out intrapreneurship successfully will bring the corporation new competitive strength and a higher level of operation and management. It is an important way for the coporation to keep its competitive power and grow up continually.However, most of the foreign and domestic studies upon intrapreneurship were directed to the strategic coalition, M&A, multinational operation and risk investment between countries. The studies about how to carry out the intrapreneurship in small and medium-sized enterprises in China is far not enough. In fact, these enterprises form an important part of our national economy. It plays an important role in fields of fueling economic growth, upgrading people's living standards, relieving social employment pressure and keeping social peace. Especially in recent years, the Chinese government is more and more explicit about its policies to support the small and medium-sized enterprises, which drove the needs of intrapreneurial practices among these enterprises to adapt to the international competitive challengers. So, the studies about intrapreneurship in small and medium-sized enterprises are really significantly.This research started from the summarizing of former studies about corporate entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, and then combined it with the practical characteristic of small and medium-sized enterprises to put forward a two-dimensional matrice to classify three types of intrapreneurship practices in small and medium-sized enterprises. After that, this research integrated theory analysis, enterprise interview and analysis of statistical data to summarize the main risks in each of the three types of intrapreneurship. What's more, we have taken a further step to get the structure of risk control competence in each type of the intrapreneurship in the base of entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial change management, which were drawn from the documents and material summary. And this made a theory basis for intrapreneurial practices in small and mediun-sized enterprises.This research has an important guiding value for the practicing of intrapreneurship, we offered many concrete and feasible suggestions to the recognizing of risk factors and to carry out the risk control actions in the process of intrapreneurship in small and medium-sized enterprises. |
