Suburbanization is a stage that urban development goes through convergence to centrifugal, which is an inevitable stage, In the late of 1980s, as a result of the policies and economic development, Beijing began the process of suburbanization, which is characterized as the initial phenomenon that industrial enterprises were relocated from the Centre City to the Suburb. The phenomenon of the population and habitation suburbanization is most obvious of all. Along with the reform of land and housing in 1990s, the trend of industrial suburbanization become more and more obvious and commerce & office suburbanization have started.Along with the process of suburbanization in Beijing, the industrial structure is changing relevantly. And what changes have happened, what are the principles, how to guide the evolution of this trend, these important issues are placed in front of the Municipal Development and Planning of Beijing. So far related theme of this field is still very rare. This thesis is to examine the evolution and principles of industrial evolution.At first, this thesis summarized the theory of suburbanization and industrial structure at home and abroad. According to this basis, the thesis focuses on the three aspects of Beijing Suburbanization involving the concept of space and time, the evolution of population suburbanization and the principles of suburbanization evolution. Then with the use of data of population, industry, the employment in Beijing since the 1990s, the thesis analyzed the process of suburbanization and the principles of evolution of industrial structure in Beijing. Finally, with the process of suburbanization and the evolution of the industrial structure, this thesis brings forward the effective proposals of industry policy.
