Demonstration Study On The Evolution Of Chong Qing's Industrial Structure

National or regional industrial structure is an important expression of the quality of its economy. The pace and the level of economic development of the country or the region and the amount of its NI(National Income), are mainly decided by its industrial structure. If the country or the region has a rational industrial structure,it will achieve optimal allocation of resources; the capacity of creating increase value of social wealth can be enhanced;and national economy will run sustainably,rapidly and healthily.Great Exploitation of the Western Region is an important measure to promote economic development of the western region and even the whole country.To adjust and optimize the industrial structure is a breakthrough of implementing the strategy of Great Exploitation of the Western Region. Chongqing is the only municipality in China's western region and has got well-known achievements since it became a municipality in 1997. The dissertation takes a demonstration study in the evolution of its industrial structure.The dissertation analyzes the evolution process of the industrial structure of Chongqing since reform and opening up;analyzes the evolution performance of the industrial structure of Chongqing and its industrial structure status;and finds out the existing problems and shortcomings of Chongqing's industrial structure and the industry departments whose industrial relevancy degrees are comparatively big;finally presents the solutions to optimize and upgrade Chongqing's industrial structure.The structure of the dissertation is as follows :Chapter I, exordium. It expounds the purpose and significance of this dissertation and defines the concepts of industry, industrial structure and so on. Chapter II, general depiction of related documentation. It consist of the analysis of development history and current status of foreign industrial structure theory and the representation theory of domestic industrial structure. Chapter III, the performance analysis of the evolution of the industrial structure of Chongqing. The author analyses the evolution performance of the industrial structure of Chongqing mainly via the economic development indicators, the deviation degree of industrial structure,industrial comparative labor productivity,and the comparison of the status of three industries of Chongqing with the ones of international standard.
