| Patent race refers to obtain possession of the franchise and patent for competitive advantage. Because the competition in future must be patents and other intellectual property competition. Compared with the foreign leader companies on investing in the intellectual property and patent application, our companies are all in a backward position. Therefore, it is essential that companies in the backward status should form the technical alliance.Firstly, this thesis analyses that the foreign leaders and the backward companies in technology development and patents have enormous gap through a large amount of data collection, including the research input ratio, the ratio of high-quality personnel, patents output efficiency, etc. We can easily find that we are quite behind them in the patent race. So the technical alliance must be formed. Because the construction of technical alliance can share R&D costs, disperse risks, obtain scale advantages of R&D, and promote the flow of knowledge among backward companies. Finally, we can build cooperative game model, and find the key factors which impact the formation of technical alliance. Through the analysis of the cooperative game model, we can get the conclusion that how to effectively promote the backward companies to participate in the technical alliance. In order to test the result, we use two cases study to verified whether the conclusions are reasonable or not.Of course, because of the restraint of author's academic attainments, this study still has many limitations. At the end of this thesis, we list several aspects in this research which are expected to be improved in the future. |
