Chinese Cities The Foreign Population Living In Rural And Related Policy Research

Although more and more rural people immigrated into China's cities, their habitation status was being ignored. In order to reflect the problem objectively and roundly, through field social investigation and literature analysis, we summarized some habitation features of rural-urban migrants as"limited habitation options","worse habitation conditions","marginal habitation spaces"and"lower unsatisfied level"etc. In the theoretical framework of migration, we analyzed some factors that may affect the habitation of rural-urban migrants from dimensions as"original places","immigrated cities","state dimension"and"rural-urban migrants individuals"by using our field investigation data and related materials. Finally, we attempted to propose a brief framework of the housing policy that may promote the habitation status of China's rural-urban migrants, by reviewing the related housing policies of both foreign countries and China herself.
