Modern Management Models Applied Research, In The Hunan Provincial Expressway Construction Management

In order to solve the problems in expressway construction management, theory of modern management is applied in expressway construction. The application of advanced ideas and technology in expressway construction management was researched. Taking Changde-Jishou expressway construction management for an example, modern management was analyzed.1) Expressway construction in Hunan province was introduced, and the main problems in expressway construction management were put forward. Main problems of construction management in Hunan province are as the following: too many management departments, short traffic distance, poor financing ability, and low management technology and measures.2) As the foundation of expressway management system, the theory and methods of modern management are introduced. According to the theory and methods of modern management, management system, management institute, management technology and methods were analyzed to solve the problems of construction management in Hunan province. And reasonable advice was presented.3) Taking Changde-Jishou expressway for an example, the application of modern management technology and methods was researched. Three management aims: quality control, progress control, and payment control were applied in construction management of Changde-Jishou expressway. Modern management system was applied in the expressway construction management in all the country for the first time. As a result, the level and quality of construction management were increased greatly.
