To China, there exist various unequal foreign trade relationship in modern history. Under this condition, the economic conflict between China and Japan sharpened gradually. Whenever you open magazine or newspaper from 1920s to 1930s, you would find a number of comments and opinions about resistance to the goods from Japan. With the increase influence of trade protectionism , the movement, resistance to the goods produced by Japan, not only embody armed conflict between people of China and Japan, but also reflect hidden economic conflict. The author believe that resistance Japanese product was the realistic way to solve economic conflict between China and Japan based on the consensus reached by Chinese about industrial development and trend of trade protection. Meanwhile, boycott was also the way to express Chinese economic or political needs. In order to cancel a series of unequal treaties and to develop national industry, Chinese boycott Japanese goods by means of their right to choose Japanese goods or not. Combined with research approach of economic and idealistic history, the writer successfully analyzed the real causes of resistance. In brief, the paper, firstly, conclude that any socioeconomic phenomenon is the result of specific history conditions and trend of that time. Secondly, after analyzing the link of social movement and economic ethos, the author believe that economic thought was an important factor for pushing forward economic development.
