With the development of market economy ,especially after China's entering the WTO ,more and more companies realize the importance and the necessity of educating the at-work executives of business .Just like what Peter Crude said ,"The only advantage of competition is to have the ability of learning faster than your rivals ."The qualities as well as the abilities of an executive himself do influence the development of the business a lot ,therefore ,it is essential and meaningful to educate executives perseveringly .Executive Development Programs (EDP) supply the executives with a course system of training without leaving their positions .It puts emphasis on executives'learning and development for their whole life ,and largely perfects their qualities ,knowledge structure and ability structure .In this article the author analyses the practical operation of W College ,and brings up the channel strategy carried out at the college ,and summarizes the regulations and developing trend of channel business of this trade .W College which is a college of higher learning with no record of schooling supplies a professional on-the-job executive training .It has been developing fast since it was built in 2002 and has won a high popularity in the market in areas in Sichuan .The author makes a deep research and analysis on the market of EDP training , the market competitive position ,central resources ,key abilities of W College ,and proper market channels of EDP project in the article .There are five parts in the article to analyze and design the EDP market channels of W College .In the first part, it introduces China's non-record higher schooling education organization, the contents of EDP project and its development in China. And also, in this part, it makes a deep analysis on the characteristics of EDP products .There's also an introduction on the research object and scope mentioned in this article .There's a brief review of the theoretical base and the research methods of the whole article in the second part. In this part, an introduction is made in detail on a basic theory of market channel (including the definition and classification of channels ,the design of channel mode ,the selection of channel members ,and the evaluation of channels ) . What's more, there's also a detailed introduction about research methods discussed in the article .In the third part, the author mainly analyzes the market circumstance of on-the-job executive training industry and the operating ability of W College, pointing out the developing opportunities and challenges the college is facing right now.In the fourth part the author analyses the present condition of EDP marketing channels in W College, pointing out the opportunities as well as challenges the college is now facing .It also shows the problems of the channels by dissecting the mode of EDP trade channels, the resource and ability of W College .Part Five based on the four parts above makes a design for EDP channels of W College, and it introduces its aims of the design, business strategies, management, encouragement strategies, and coordination & union .The author now is a main leader of W College, in charge of the college work .This article is an analysis and summary to the present work on building the market channels .By this article, the author hopes to have a profounder discussion with the experts on the market channel research and plan of W College's market channel, and is glad to listen to the experts' precious opinions in order to make W College develop in a healthy way .
