C Plant Strategic Supplier Selection

With increasing economic integration and rapidly development of informantion technolodge, customers has been more and more demanding, lead time has been more and more important. Market competition has present new characteristics. Competitions happen between supply chains rather than between Enterprises.Under such an competitive situation, the strategic cooperation relationship built between the Manufacturers and Suppliers must be the key step during the whole supply chain management process. In other words,it will become a policy-making key point how to choose a strategic supplier successfully.Firstly, this paper will introduce and investigate the related knowledges of supply chain management and the developing trend of strategic supplier selection brieftly. Secondly, based on the pratical analysis of C Company's supplier selection especially on its'strategic supplier selection, this paper will build a suitable flow of C Company's stratigic supplier selection by using some related theories of supplier selection and ETO related production theories.After a thorough analysis of important influence factors of strategic supplier selection, combination the C Company's pratical situations, the paper describes the indexes from ten dimensions: price, quality, delivery ability, innovation ability, credit standing, service after sale, information construction, health safety environment (HSE) level, operation ability, enterprise environment,. The comprehensive indexes system of strategic supplier selection is thus formed. This paper then provides a selection model based on fuzzy synchronized evaluation method. It's espected to guide C Company's strategic suppliers selection constructively.
