Green Supply Chain Strategic Supplier Selection In M Company

Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is a strategy which strengthens and integrates environmental consideration into whole supply chain. The detail methodologies as the follows:communication and collaboration within internal enterprise and the cooperation among the external up-stream and down-stream different companies, which to realize green design, green procurement, green manufacture and green marketing. Green strategic supplier is playing an important role of green supply chain strategy implement. As strategic green supplier selection methodology, there are some special requirements which are different as traditional supplier selection practices. This paper focuses on the discussion of qualified strategic suppliers selection and how to improve green supply chain management performance.Initially, this paper indicates the differences between traditional and modern selection methods of green supplier performances. A green supplier selection index system is also generated. Secondly, according to the content of green supply chain theory and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process)of multi-criteria decision-making model, the green supplier evaluation process and methodology are proposed. Finally a case on a company:M in the electrical industry was researched. This case is demonstrated how to select and manage strategic supplier in green supply chain.The results showed that the proposal multi-criteria decision-making model is applicable and feasible,which based on AHP for green supply chain strategic supplier selection.It can be referenced by the enterprise, which will introduce and implement green supply chain, especially for the company in the electronic industry.
