Research On The Influence Of Dynamic Capability On Competence Advantage—Based On Analysis Of Project Logistic Service Providers

With the implementation of “Belt and Road”,“going global” and other strategies,an increasing number of overseas projects are contracted,while the market share is also growing.Thus,resulting in rising demand of international project logistics services,and it is a significant positive news for China's project logistics enterprises.Meanwhile,the increasingly fierce competition in global market and the higher customers' requirements are huge challenges for all the enterprises.Project logistics enterprises,transformed from traditional international freight forwarding agency,experienced their golden period relying on resources and experiences due to insufficient market competition before financial crisis.But after that,the competition which is more intense and the demand of customers which is in pursuit of “high-end service,low-end price” are higher challenges for project logistics service providers.In the fierce-competitive and rapid-changing market nowadays,how to gain and maintain competitive advantages is a difficult problem for all project logistics service providers.Based on researching,combing and summarizing a large amount of literature research,dynamic capability,combined with characters of project logistics,is divided in to four dimensions: environmental percept-ability,adaptability,organizational learning ability and network integration ability in this thesis.A new model is established on the basis of previous studies with four dynamic capability dimensions as independent variables,competitive advantage the dependent variable,and main business types and establishment years control variables.Four hypotheses are put forward: environmental percept-ability,adaptability,organizational learning ability and network integration ability,respectively,has positive significant relationship with competitive advantage.The influence of these four dimensions of dynamic capability on competitive advantage,adding control variables as well,is studied through a questionnaire survey of middle-and-senior-level management in project logistics enterprises.Statistical software SPSS 22.0,which is used to analyze data collected from the questionnaire,does describing statistical analysis,reliability validity analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the theoretical model and hypothesis put forward in the preceding thesis.It is concluded that the constituent elements of dynamic capability: environmental percept-ability,adaptability,organizational learning ability and network integration ability,have positive and significant relationship to competitive advantage.There are some changes on the influence degree after adding two control variables which are business types and years of establishment of project logistics enterprises,the influence degree of dynamic capability of different business types of project logistics on competitive advantages varies.Finally,some suggestions are put forward after the research of this thesis: first,being aware of environmental changes with market-oriented.Guiding by the market,the project logistics service providers should percept the changes in the internal and external environments in the market,grasping the trend of industry development and taking appropriate effective measures in time.Second,adapting to the environmental changes by re-allocating resources.In face of changes in the industry market,rapid response and re-allocation of internal and external resources are needed to adjust the operating mode and strategy timely by the managements of enterprise.Third,strengthening organization learning,focusing on knowledge and skills.Paying attention to the study of invisible knowledge,encouraging employees to learn and innovate steadily and trying to build a learning organization to enhance the vitality of enterprise.Forth,integrating organization networks by lying a solid foundation.Promoting the plan,framework and operation of project logistics network reasonably,while integrating the internal and external resources,to form a trust and stable cooperative relations and improve the durability of the relationships.
