The purpose of the research is to evaluate the satisfaction attitudes to the incentive mechanism of bus drivers of Shanghai Pudong BASHI company, and how the personal attributes (including age, sex, driving age, level of education, marital status) influence the incentive mechanism and its factors.Firstly, the theoretical structure was based on "the Hierarchy of Needs" of Mr. H. Maslow and "Two-Factor Theory" of Mr. Frederick Herzberg. The questionnaire for Pudong Bashi bus drivers was designed by author after combining with the experts' advices of the company and referring to the factors of popular questionnaire with higher degree of reliability and efficiency. Six factors were abstracted from the questionnaire. They are "payment system", "work experience", "work environment", "welfare and social security", "payment management" and "administration". Forty-seven questions based on these six factors were compiled. In order to identify problems objectively, three open-ended questions were set in the questionnaire.Once finishing the first draft of the questionnaire, we started the sample forecast. Retrieving forecast questionnaires and doing necessary analysis, the questions not significant were deleted. The factor analysis was used to test the quality and efficiency of the questionnaire. Finally, the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient proved the questionnaire and six factors were valid. The official questionnaire completed with 30 items and three open-ended questions totally. There were 225 bus drivers participated in the survey. Total 225 questionnaires were issued and were taken back 100%. After collating all the information and documents, 18 invalid questionnaires were discarded. 207 valid questionnaires were kept. Conclusions gained from statistical analysis of the gathered data with frequency distributions, percentage, Pearson product moment correlation, linear cross tables, independent samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA analysis, are as follows:1. Shanghai Pudong BASHI bus drivers on the overall evaluation is satisfactory.2. The six incentive factors satisfaction attitude, according to the priority, are ranged from high to low as follows: work experience, administration, welfare and social security, payment management, working conditions, payment systems.3. The payment management has the highest correlation with the incentive mechanism satisfaction. The administration has the lowest correlation with the incentive mechanism satisfaction.4. Different sexes will influence the satisfaction of payment system of incentive factors.5. The difference between the age, driving age, marital status, and education will not influence the satisfaction.
