G Vmi Mode Of Application Of The Public Bonded Warehouse Operation Of The Electronics Industry

Along with the more exactitude dividing of industry and the attention of logistics efficiency, all enterprises must cooperate closed for supply chain management. They try all their best through efficient supply management to reduce the inventory level and cost pressure and operation lead time. Vendor management inventory (VMI) is one of the powerful tools to reach these targets and 3PL is also the important actor in VMI.Electronics field use much VMI and bonded logistics is their preferred way when the factories opened in China. But the bonded logistics should be under strict supervision by the government, which will impact the efficiency of VMI. That problem is an important task for logistics field and is also the research subject of the government.This thesis first introduces and analyzes the VMI definition and Inter-organization Systems (IOS). Second introduces the China bonded regulations and boned warehouse classification. Then it analyzes the function of China E-port and the VMI operation model for electronics field through bonded warehouse in various districts to raise the problem of the operation model.On this basis, the thesis put the emphasis on the solving methods of G Company. Detailed discusses its site choosing, perfect system structure, advanced bar-code system and B2B data exchanging with the Customs and customers. All these characteristics enable it to meet the requirement of electronics and also meet the supervision of government.At the end of the thesis, I propose some expectation from the industry developing viewpoint, and also link the experience of G Company with Customs "Information Supervision program" to try to provide some thought ways and foundation materials for later research.
