Shaanxi Energy Development And The Economic Development Research

Nowadays,energy has become the focus of world attention,it not only because it is closely related with the economic and social development,but also because of its influence to international political,military and diplomatic.With China's economic development,there is a substantial growth in energy demand.Energy has become one of the main problems to be resolved in China's economy. In recent years,international energy market changes rapidly.And it has caused great impact on China's energy industry.At the same time,as China's accession to the WTO,economic globalization calls for a higher demand on China's energy industry.China's energy shortage,higher energy prices brought good opportunities for the energy-rich provinces' development.In addition,Comrade Hu Jintao in the report at the party's 17th congress said,we should change the development ways,make more efforts on conservation energy resources and protection of ecological environment,to the guidance of the scientific concept of development.This also proposed new requirements to energy-rich provinces in the development of the energy industry.As one of China's energy-rich provinces,the development of Shaanxi's energy industry plays a great role in Shaanxi's economy development even the whole country's development.Energy industry is one of the eight pillar industries of Shaanxi.Its development has a great influence on the overall situation of the province's economic development.With the foundation of energy and heavy chemical industry base in northern Shaanxi,the energy industry in Shaanxi will gradually play a decisive role in China's national economic development and national economic construction.It will not only support the continued development of the eastern coastal areas and realize the two complement each other's superiority and common development,but also plays a significant role in the development of the western region.Therefore,in accordance with the advantages of Shaanxi's natural resources,promote the province's economic development through the development of energy industry is one of the important ways in the promotion of economic development.However,the energy industry has obvious polarization effect:to promote economic development and serious pollution of the environment.It is necessary to further study the relationship of Shaanxi's energy industry and economic development.It is crucial to analyze the existing problems and causes in the process of Shaanxi energy industry's developing and build a sustainable energy system to promote the economic development of Shaanxi Province.This paper is divided into seven chapters:ChapterⅠanalyzes the research background, significance,purpose and related researches at home and abroad.It also introduces the idea and method for the full text and lays the foundation for the study.The second chapter introduces the concepts and theories related to the analysis,provides the theoretical basis for study.The third chapter,bases on introducing the Shaanxi energy status quo and the status quo of economic development,using the input-output method,co integration analysis and other methods,analyzes the energy's promote effect and dampening effect to economic development.Through analysis,we have more profound understanding and grasp the relationship between them and achieve a more complete understanding of the energy industry in Shaanxi Province.ChapterⅣ,bases on the analysis of the third chapter,finds out the existing problems of Shaanxi energy industry in promoting economic development and their causes.ChapterⅤ,in accordance with the actual situation in Shaanxi Province,with the theory of Industrial Ecology,suggests constructing energy ecosystems of Shaanxi Province;ChapterⅥgives the corresponding policy recommendations of Shaanxi Provincial energy ecosystem nurturing;ChapterⅦsummarizes the main viewpoints of the full text and suggests the future research field in conjunction with the author's reality.In short,this paper combines theory and practice,uses qualitative and quantitative research methods,analyzes the relationship between economic development and energy development in Shaanxi Province.This paper also gives suggestions on promoting the development of the energy sector in order to promote economic development.The main innovation embodied in:(1) This paper applies the resource development theory to the region of Shaanxi Province.And it analyzes the energy resources development and economic development of Shaanxi Province theoretically.(2) This paper gives empirical study of the relationship between Shaanxi Province's energy development and economic development.And uses the input-output method and co integration method to analyze the relationship of energy and economic.It calculates the energy input effects, output effects and industry association effects quantitatively.This paper also analyzes the increase effects of the financial income and resident's income,environmental effects,investment in human capital and the effect of increased polarization of rich and poor qualitatively.And calculates the energy development's contribution to the economic development of Shaanxi and analyzes the contribution channel.At last it reveals the intrinsically linkage of energy resources development and the economic development of Shaanxi Province.(3) This paper analyzes the existing problems and causes of Shaanxi's energy industry.According these problems,using energy development and economic development theory and the theory of Industrial Ecology,we propose energy envisaged ecosystem and propose policy recommendations to nurture and support it.
