Mettler - Toledo Company's New Products To Import Based On Project Management Control

Metier Toledo precision instrument corporation should develop many new products every year. Some are for the needs of the market, and some are for the competitive product. Until now, there are about five thousand kinds of PCB assembly in our department. We must put the new product into the market as soon as possible, so we can make more money from the product. In the other hand, low price and high quality product is more recognized by the customers. It's more difficult to reduce cost and improve quality by our production way. We have to introduce the project management. The target of the project management is how to affectively allocate the time, technology and manpower. There should be a good management and control system to conduct the development process of a new product, from the concept starts to finish the design, until to produce it in the production line, with high efficiency and quality. We should apply project management in our new product introduction. In this article I would like to discuss how to improve the quality and reduce the cost, how to improve the production efficiency from the R&D to the mass production.
