Study Of Iron Ore Port Logistics Efficiency Evaluating

In recent years, the steel industry has been developing continuously and quickly. Because of the limited production of iron ore, we need to import a large amount of iron ore in order to meet the command of the development of the steel industry. But the commodity circulate of the iron ore port is not facile, the iron ore which has arrived at the port cannot been transported to all the steel companies in time , it becomes a problem which makes troubles on port and steel companies for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the factors which can influence the efficiency of the commodity circulate about the iron ore port, and analyze it ,seek for the way to improve the efficiency of the commodity circulate.This text makes a short introduction of the layout and construction of the iron ore port, and analyze the main problems of iron ore and commodity circulate about port. On basis of these, the following works have been done.1. It studies the main factors which can influence the natural geographical conditions. from the research, we find that natural geographical conditions, fundamental instruments of the port, the production of the port, the ability of the transport and the exterior environment of the port are the five main factors to influence the efficiency of commodity circulate about port.2. Set up the estimation model of the commodity circulate about the iron ore port. Set up the estimating index system of commodity circulate about port. Analyze the commodity circulate about iron ore port by making full use of the AHP and FIP.3. Choose three ports to make an instance estimation. This text chooses and estimates three ports: Rizhao port, Qingdao port, LianYungang port, and analyzes the result of estimation. From AHP, it concludes that natural geographical conditions, fundamental instruments of the port, the production of the port, the ability of the transport and the exterior environment of the port are the five main factors to influence the efficiency of commodity circulate on the port. With regard to the result of instance estimation, the bigger the port is , the higher the commodity circulate on the ore port is, the advantages of the commodity circulate on the iron ore port bases on the big scale. 4. Come up with the suggestions about the commodity circulate on the iron ore port and the port construction. The iron ore port should concentrate on the interior to improve the efficiency. We need to make an integrate program about the port construction, it is necessary to control the scale and speed of the iron port construction. We also should fasten the pace of re-organize the resource and set up unions among ports and unions between port and company. The location of port should provides the good exterior conditions for thedevelopment of the port.
