Preliminary Study On Sustainable Consumption Patterns

The realization of sustainable development depends on sustainable production and sustainable consumption, sustainable consumption is the realization mechanism of the sustainable development, the only way to the development for human consumption, the one of the important parts in the sustainable development strategy. It's promoting a new kind of consumption mode that is progressive, reasonable and healthy, it tries to improve our life quality and protect our existence environment from polluting and consuming excessively at the same time. Thus the sustainable consumption is not only the critical part of the circulation chain for human society sustainable development, but also the great trend of nowadays the international consumption revolution and development.According to explaining the connotation and the essence of the sustainable consumption theory, firstly this article points out that the sustainable consumption is brought forward based on denying the consumption mode of the traditional industry civilization; secondly, analyses the current consumption mode in China, indicates the impact on society economy development by the excessive consumption, at last, searches after establishing the strategy and the approach for the sustainable consumption mode.
