The employment of labor force is one of the most important issues that most countries are facing,as well as China.It will not only ensure persistent growth of economics but also guarantee the social stability to solve the labor employment issue reasonably.Shandong is a province with big numbers in both economics and population.In this case,it is significant to stimulate the labor employment in urban area of Shandong province in terms of economic development and social progress.Using urban labor force in Shandong province as object for the research,this dissertation introduces the related conceptions for employment of labor force,analyses the current situation and existing problems of urban employment,and puts forward useful suggestions accordingly in the end.It also points out the issues on urban employment of labor force in Shandong,such as the surplus supply of urban labor force,the structural contradiction,the lag on employment growth comparing with economic growth and so on.It concludes to increase economic innovation,optimize industrial structure and adjust the transfer of rural labor force as countermeasures in Shandong.This article is based on the basic theories and measures of macroeconomics,applied economics and labor economics,combining empirical analysis with normative analysis. It points out the feasibility countermeasures on promoting employment through analyzing the situation and problems of employment of urban labor in Shandong province,which will have a directive function for both economics and social practice.
