The implementation of reform policies since1986to present, Vietnam hasgained great economic achievements. Contribute to the overall achievements thathave no small contribution of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).SMEs are a key component in the national economy, contributing positively toVietnam’s GDP growth. At the same time, SMEs have also created a lot of jobs forworkers, contributing to poverty reduction, ensuring people’s living and nationalsecurity.In2006, Vietnam joined the World Trade Organization (WTO),the event is tomark the integration of Vietnam’s economy with the world’s economy, in addition,the advantages of this integration also brings out many difficulties and challenges,especially for SMEs. In recent years, due to the world economic crisis has a largeeffect on the economy of Vietnam, in which SMEs suffer the most negative influences.By SMEs in Vietnam with small production scale, the amount of capital, outdatedtechnology. it’s hard to create competition in the domestic and international marketing.Besides, the attraction of labor, particularly skilled labor is a highly specializeddifficult for SMEs in Vietnam.Prior to the above problem exists, the contents of my graduate thesis goes to findout the status SMEs in Vietnam, the situation of human resources in SMEs in Vietnam.I use SWOT analysis of the advantages, opportunities, and find out the difficultiesand challenges of SMEs in Vietnam. Based on the analysis will provide solutions andrecommendations to rectify, limit the difficulties and challenges in attracting humanresources of SMEs in Vietnam.
