Since reform and opening up foreign direct investment in China, rapid growth, China has become the largest acceptance country of foreign direct investment in the world. The massive influx of foreign capital in promoting economic growth in China has played an important role for promoting economic growth ,it promots China's social development and institutional change. However, due to China's reform and opening to the echelon and other environmental factors, foreign direct investment in China shows regional differences. From 1979 to 2008 the middle the east, the western region of China's actual use of foreign direct investment, accounting for about 80% of the eastern region, about 8%-15% of the central region, the western region accounted for only about 2%-5%. On the eastern region, the FDI in Yangtze River Delta further concentrated, and the trend has also further strengthened.In this paper, two aspects of qualitative and quantitative analysis resulted in foreign direct investment in China's regional differences and influencing factors. From the qualitative analysis in terms of foreign direct investment in the region to consider when positioning the region's investment environment, including cost factors, market factors, institutional factors and so on.. In qualitative analysis, based on the quantitative aspects of this paper, the various factors on foreign direct investment in the impact of the decision-making, the paper chosen by environmental factors, including gross domestic product (GDP),domestic investment (INVEST), retail sales of social consumer goods (EXPD), the growth rate of gross domestic product (GDPG), dependence on foreign trade import and export value accounted for GDP (TRADE / GDP) state-owned enterprises accounted for GDP gross domestic product (SGDP), the average wage of workers (WAGE), the number of institutions of higher learning in school (STUDENT), the region area per square mileage of highways (HIGHWAY / AREA), patent authorization number (PATENT) and policy factors. According to the results of the analysis chapters on the central and western regions to attract foreign investment constraints of obstacle, the three major areas of the basic idea of using foreign capital and how the central and western regions to improve the investment environment to provide policy recommendations.
