As the social Processes and the market economy system improves, the quality inspection institute must build the management system and structure more flexible to the outer circumstance. The quality inspection market have gradually opened to the overseas agencies with advanced equipment and technology since the year of 2005.In a market system, therefore, our detection bodies, if lack of competition, will be bankupt or merged.As one of China's first grade quality inspection bodies, the Fibre Inspection Institute has developed a lot during the past few years. The Institute owns large quantity of the advanced software and hardware, and is authorized and qualified to perform quality inspection. However, it still has to adjust it's structure strategy to gain the advantage in such a competitive circumstance after China's WTO entry.The business process reengineering (BPR) is the effective way for enterprises to improve management and increase its benefit. On the basis of the current status and the circumstance of the Institute, the thesis diagnoses the organization structure and the business process within the Institute. Applying the BPR theory and from angle of the business process modeling, the thesis also ascertains the Institute's core inspection business scope, and thus finds where to reengineer the business process. Given these findings, the thesis rebuilds the Institute's operation structure and designs the new business process and information system.It is evident that the performing of the business process reengineering based on the business process modeling simplifies the business process, improves staff utility and work efficiency. In addition, the BRP produces prominent effect in shortening business work time and improves custom satisfaction.
