Chinese Cell Phone Animation Industry Development

In the global informationization tide, along with the development of handset new media technology and mobile internet technology, FLASH technology is transplanted to mobile communication. Thus, a new term comes, which is "handset ACG", including handset Animation, Comics and Game.Different with traditional ACG, whose dissemination channels mainly are movie, TV, magazine and book, the dissemination channels of handset ACG focus on mobile internet, especially 3G network which has been promoted massively. However, compared with developed countries such as America and Japan, China is quite junior in handset ACG industry and we have many restrictions in network infrastructure, product foundation, expense pattern, users mass and so on. How to treat these restrictions and help the handset ACG industry grow fast on the platform of 3G network is the key motive for this thesis.In this thesis, firstly, current business models and situation of global ACG industry are introduced. Combined with Chinese macro environment for ACG industry, current industry situation in China with corresponding investment, economic and policy base are pointed out. Secondly, based on development trend of mobile internet, Chinese handset ACG industry has accumulated a certain base. And, combined with study on application direction of Flash technology and successful cases abroad, all forces in the industry chain are discussed in detail according to analysis on characteristics of Chinese handset ACG industry. Finally, the new trend of Chinese ACG industry is pointed out in this thesis. Proposals of increasing investment on mobile network infrastructure, improving profit distribution models, enhancing product contents, improving user notion and building a mass consuming pattern and to consummate profit model are made out to speedup industrialization of handset ACG in China.
