National defense industry is vital to national economy and military. Before reform and opening, our defense industry is a official contributive, close, intestine associated and consumptive one, the military industry and the civilian one separated. But with the rapidly increasing national economy and defensive needs, this kind of military industry mode was not adapted to this trend, so the innovations of military industry came into being. Also, the world's military affairs were trending to centralization, become market-oriented, integration of military and civilian, internationalization in the period of new military innovation after the cold war. Together with it, the new targets of our national military's innovation after thirty years' reformation are translating into 'integration of military and civilian' and 'integration of industrialization and information industry', which is according with the characters of the world military's direction of development. At the same time, the private capital grows into one of the most important powers of national economy with fast development in the economic innovation and the nation's open. It is significative question for study how to strengthen and enlarge actions on the national defence's development.Firstly, this paper research the history of our national defense and the main problems of current military industry, then conclude that translating our military industry marketable and private capital entering into military industry are main solutions to the current difficulties;Secondly, the paper analysis the experiences of the international private capital investing in military industry, and the effects and two examples of our private capital entering into national defensive industry. And then, we put forward concept that private capital coming into military industry is necessary to realize military market-oriented and integration of military and civilian.In the end, we bring forward suggestions and methods of innovation to promote private capital into military industry. Finally, the military and civil are both winners, and an integrated industry of military and civilian is coming into being and maturing.
