China Telecom Jiangsu Pipeline Resource Management System Construction Project Schedule Control System And Method

Pipelines, copper wires, and optical fibers are key resources used by China Telecom to connect customers. They directly reflect the company's service capacity in customer coverage and specifically manifest its core competitiveness. To manage and appropriately allocate these resources, one urgent tasks of China Telecom Jiangsu is to establish a unified management system of the pipe & line resources in Jiangsu Province. But there were not any successful experience for China Telecom Jiangsu to establish and popularize the basic management system.As an emerging discipline and a special management methodology, project management profoundly affects the society and plays important roles in various fields bring in enormous economic and social benefits. Referred the massive project management discipline literature material, and according to carefully studied the results of the project management process and project schedule management knowledge areas, I have introduced the ideology and methodology of project management into the building of the management system of the pipe & line resources at China Telecom Jiangsu.This paper mostly introduces that in the schedule control of building the pipe & line resource management system at China Telecom Jiangsu, referred the ideology and methodology of project schedule management, combined with the material specialty and request of the management system of the pipe & line resources, to manage project schedule by established scientific control system and method in the project process. From the establishment of the project plan, to arrange and control the project schedule, it is embodied by established a set of control system and method. And the project have been implemented according to plan and completed in right time by improving management efficiency, enhancing communication management and changing management.
