| Since Sep.4th,2006,31 provincial post supervision units have been founded in the country. After reorganization, The National Post Bureau and China Post Company were established at the end of 2006, which contributes to the separation of supervision and business running in China post sector. The integration of supervision and business running ended since the start of the reform in China post. In this background, the degree of satisfaction of the employees in the post sector may vary compared with time before the reform. The effect of their degree of satisfaction on the development of the enterprise is worth the attention from the managers and researchers.This article focuses on the employees of a subsidiary branch of Beijing Post Company. Interviews were conducted, which helps summarize the key elements which influence their attitude. Based on the MSQ employee degree of satisfaction scale, the scale in this branch is designed. After close examination of its quality, questionnaire is adopted among employees at different levels in the branch. Among the 230 questionnaire,213 were replied with 177 valid. The ratio of valid reply amounts to 83.1%. analysis software include EXCEL and SPSS.177 valid samples are analyzed with the methods of quality test, descriptive statistics, factor variance analysis, Pearson analysis and regression analysis. The result of the research shows that employees in the branch undergoing reform are moderately satisfied with their situation and have higher degree of satisfaction with interpersonal relationship, relationship with supervisors and personal fulfillment in their posts. On the aspects of pay and subsidies, they are less satisfied. After the research on the effect of the degree of satisfaction, the key elements include independence in the post, satisfaction to the rule of pay, satisfaction to the promotion opportunities. The link between the degree of satisfaction to the position content, rule of pay, promotion opportunities and the tendency of delinquency and resignation is apparent. The satisfaction to the rule of pay and promotion opportunity substantially affects the performance of the whole branch.Through the research of the relationship between the employee degree of satisfaction and the tendency of resignation, the latter is founded lower with the increase of the former.At the end of the article, the writer suggests measures to increase the degree of satisfaction of employees, with the wish to improve the administrative level in the company and promote the development of the post enterprises. |
