| First, based on the specific actual conditions of China's auto enterprises, this paper introduces the history of the world's supplier management, analyses the status of auto supplier business management in the United States, Japan, German and China, and the status of domestic auto parts suppliers, then discusses the pros and cons of vendor management at home and abroad.Second, this paper explains the concept of supplier management on theory. Suppliers occupy an important role in the automobile industry, they have a direct impact on the key factors such as cost of car, character and quality. This paper discusses the objectives and strategies of supplier management in general, and introduces the relationship between various suppliers and plants. Today, all the international auto enterprises raise supplier management strategy to a high degree to establish a win-win situation together with suppliers. It also introduces the optimistic role of plants played in the supplier management, whose comprehensive quality management is helpful to improve the supplier's product development capabilities and quality assurance capacity which could ensure plants'product quality.Then, this paper introduces the development process of Nanjing Changan Automobile Company as well as the status of supplier management issues in this company objectively makes a detailed analysis of the problems faced by Nanjing Changan, then makes an optimization of those problems. It specifically describes Nanjing Changan supplier management from how to choose, the development of supplier system, supplier of total quality management and so on, then puts forward a comprehensive and systematic manner to solve the problem now existed as well as incentives for suppliers, the establishment of woe, common development, and supplier management philosophy.Finally, this paper introduces the achievements of the supplier management of Nanjing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. and raises the outlook and recommendations. |
