Late Urbanization Of Urban Land The Expansion

In this paper, based on the theoretical study within the example of Beijing in the latter part of urbanization, the expansion of urban land use and rationality of the driving forces are conducted a detailed analysis.The first chapter is the introduction, the study of the research background and significance is inroduced, and research status at home and abroad are reviewed to explain the meaning of the research paper and technical route.In chapterⅡ, the relevant theory of the size of urban land has been defined, generalized and summarized, including:location theory, growth pole theory, the gradient theory, aggregation of economic theory and the law of the land compensation and the principle of moderate scale.in chapterⅢ, on the basis of the existing research the mechanism of driving force of urban land expansion from both internal and external are analyzed in detail and systematically.In chapterⅣ, mainly content related to the rational size of urban land use are analyzed. Mainly including:urban land expansion use issues were analyzed, thus leads to the threshold of expansion of urban land use; Then, based in the process of urban land expansion of general analysis and model, the theoretical study was discussed on the optimal size of the city and finally is an presentation on urban land use criteria determining a reasonable size of urban land scale.In chapterⅤ, the expansion of urban land use in Beijing is taken as the empirical study, the first the driving forces of expansion of urban land use in Beijing is conducted under theoretical analysis, and through principal component analysis of urban land expansion, the positive factors are selected, and then the main process, modes on expansion of urban land use in Beijing are set forth, and then the number of urban land expansion, the speed, and effectiveness of that are conducted in various comprehensive analysis in recent years, to determine whether the size of its expansion of present urban land use is reasonable, and to make correspongding comments and suggestions. Finally the scale of urban land in Beijing in the future is discussed in an exploring way.In chapterⅥ, the main research results of this paper are summarized, and discussed, I believe that the expansion of urban land use is the combined result influnced by various factors inside and outside, not through the control of population growth, economic development, and other various objective factors such as technological development artificial control to achieve the purpose of a reasonable extension of urban land, but only by policies to regulate urban land use, prevention of land-use inefficiency and unreasonable structure of urban land use.
