The thesis is to explore basic conditions, problems in management and solutions of mentoring practices in Chinese corporations. The author knows domestic and abroad research and practice development of mentoring by searching literatures, finds out the process of mentoring and designs related questionnaires by interviews with people in human resource management department in corporations and literature reviews, collects data on mentoring in corporations in China by distributing questionnaires and analyzes data using SPSS13.0. The thesis thinks that mentoring process includes four parts, that is, basic designation, supportive system designation, operation and evaluation, improvement of mentoring.Every part has many subtle sections. Data analysis demonstrates that key points of mentoring problems of Chinese corporations are irregular operations and section-missing including narrow range in mentoring operation, unscientific screening of mentor and mentee, lack of training system, lack of evaluation indicators, incomplete compensation measures, continued improving measures and so on. The thesis proposes that effective operation of mentoring is realized by constructing regular operation process of mentoring and establishing good circles of mentoring relationships.
