Many experts have maken their own comments on the future of China's mobile industry since it becomes the focus for all after the coming of the 3G era, focusing their unprecedented attention on China Mobile's TD-SCDMA technology, which is China's own intellectual property rights of R & D technology and thus makes it so important. The Government takes an optimistic attitude towards its future and provides more policy support and privilege, aiming to realize its successful commercial application in future. Thus, in such a context, it is theoretically and practically significant to study the future development of TD-SCDMA, which is also the technological innovation diffusion process, to predict its developmental conditions.This thesis tries to study the future of TD-SCDMA and the future problems in its development from the the perspective of the technological innovation diffusion. Either to technology innovation diffusion or TD-SCDMA, TD-SCDMA technology innovation diffusion is an innovative with no previous systematic studies on it. Firstly, the current development of China Mobile's TD-SCDMA is introduced by the development and background of TD-SCDMA. Then, the theory of technological innovation diffusion and its application to the research category of TD-SCDMA will be talked about, making an analysis of the types, elements, processes, patterns and influencing factors of technology innovation diffusion and establishing the model of innovation diffusion. Thirdly, empirical research of innovation diffusion model is done to predict the problems in its future development. Lastly, a conclusion is made about some influencing factors of innovation diffusion of TD-SCDMA which is a high-tech innovation diffusion, and the impact of the government's policy on it, making an all-round study of the future problems of the TD-SCDMA technology innovation diffusion and thus providing relevant solutions and measures.
