It has been made considerable progress in every respect such as the economy and society these several years in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. Therefore, there are some problems with the manpower transference and migrants'employment. The manpower transference and the problem of migrants'employment in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area is a great task that we all concerned.Since the year of 1992, the migration phenomenon is increasingly subjected to the extensive concern of social public. And migrants' employment, definition, classification, meaning, necessity and feasibility, the problems and policy proposals and the benefit evaluation of ecological migration. And also the author analyses the deficiency of existing research and points out the direction for further research. It is requirement that providing policy decision and consulting for carrying out inquiring into the employment of migration.And over the past ten years'relocation of the migrants, this task has almost been finished. The focus of resettlement work has already been transferred to the strategic aim of "going steady and gradually becoming better off". How to realize the transfer of the focus of the work is the key of solving the problem of resettlement and the employment problems, and it is a big challenge. By way of analyzing the problems of "vast population and limited farmland" in Three Gorges reservoir area, backward economy, the low level of the overall quality of the migrants etc. which severely hinder the harmonious development there, this thesis will give a series of macro suggestions for the task of supporting the resettlement at the later stage in Three Gorges reservoir area.How to improve the people's life and solve the employment problem is not only one of governments'most important works during anaphase supporting, but also a case that society and academia focus on. This paper which cares the individuals, researching the state of the social capital of vulnerable group in migrants in Three Gorges Reservoir area, has found some problems and points out the solutions to improve it.
