Enshi Autonomous Prefecture Of Eco-tourism

In the 21st century, eco-tourism is the leading industry which is both job-creating and environment friendly; it is the largest rising industry with the strongest growth rate. Eco-tourism is the new source of economic growth and consumption trend, which is combined with powerful industry chain and driving force.In this thesis, theoretical and empirical research, normative analysis and case study, macro and micro analysis will be applied on the development of ethnic minority region's eco-tourism. Guided by the theory of Ethnic minority economics and regional economics, the purpose of this thesis is to build a development model for the ethnic minority based on the practical situation of Enshi autonomous prefecture. Meanwhile, the thesis will go further to study the theory of ethnic minority region's eco-tourism and practice model in order to provide decision-making reference and inspiration for the ethnic minority region's eco-tourism development, construction of new socialist countryside and harmonious socialist society.Enshi autonomous prefecture doesn't have any national or international eco-tourism brand. However, tourism as a resource based and renewable industry, it will be a pillar industry and leading industry for the economy growth in Enshi autonomous prefecture in the long run, so it is of necessity and urgency for Enshi autonomous prefecture to develop its own eco-tourism.Currently, the development of tourism in Enshi Autonomous Prefecture is at a critical time, eco-tourism is now in its starting point facing opportunities and challenges, hopes and difficulties. How to explore and utilize eco-tourism resources is a serious question which needs serious consideration.
