| Forest tourism is a touring activity with many forms through depending on forest landscape resources. It can meet the people's desire for returning to the nature and going into the large forests through its unique resources advantages. Mountainous areas enjoy the exceptional advantages. In order to be aimed at resources characteristics and advantages, to protect and use landscape resources, to dig out resources potentials, forest parks and nature reserves are demanding scientific planning theory to direct development and distribution of scenic spots.This paper, based on research on theory of landscape biology, forest aesthetics, sustainable development and surrounding plan, put forward measures and trains of thoughts for forest tourism development in the mountainous area by way of combining site analysis with real conditions; based on all-sided investigation and analysis of present situations in enshi Prefecture, taking forest resources in enshi Prefecture as practical examples, the paper made a research on development of forest tourism.The second part introduced natural social situations of the nationalities area in enshi Prefecture. It gave an account of the population condition, geographic surroundings, climatic conditions, geological structure and landforms, local features, historic interests and historical relics of modern times.The third part introduced natural landscapes and humane landscapes in 10 forest parks and 3 nature reserves in enshi Prefecture.The fourth part focused on evaluation of forest tourism resources development. At first, evaluating systems was used to determine the nature; secondly, the amounts of forest tourism resources in enshi Prefecture was determined; at last, general evaluation was given to granted and existing conditions of forest tourism resources, general comments on tourism resources, and tourism developing conditions, thus the present situations and problems in developing forest tourism resources in enshi Prefecture were seen clearly.The fifth part aimed at and analyzed the advantages and main problems in developing forest tourism in enshi Prefecture. Advantages included exceptional position and basic conditions, exquisite poses and rich resources, as well as a rare policy and opportunity, problems included frantic conditions lagging behind financial difficulties under general tonnage of forest tourism, that promoting strength is not strong enough, that basic equipment for forest tourism is not adequate, and lack of qualified personnel for forest tourism.The sixth part put forward new trains of thought and practical countermeasures for development of forest tourism in enshi Prefecture.Through the research on the appraisal and development to the Enshi Prefecture Forest tourism resources, this paper make the people know the Forest tourism resources and how to transform rapidly the unique Forest tourism resources superiority for economical superiority which will become a new growth spot of national economy. |
