With the growing intensity in the competition of traditional communication, every operator is trying hard to fight for a bigger market share, after getting the equal right of management. Meanwhile, the need for information-based applications in enterprises is increasing. Under the stimulus of this need, the market of information-based applications is growing into a large scale. As the traditional communications market entering into such a competition model where prices keep soaring, the profit rate of the whole market is decreasing. Some of the traditional state-owned communication enterprises lack core competitiveness, because their main business income is still limited to those traditional businesses, and thus they gradually lose their market. Although DT Group is a large-scale state-owned enterprise in the field of traditional communication, and also a listed company, it still faces the impact of pluralism of market competition. The market share of the early traditional communication market is being nibbled up by the emerging products and enterprises, so the primary task of DT Group is to enhance its competitive advantages through effective methods. Given this, this paper applies the present new operation mode-capital export, capturing future market share, combines the related research results of the internationally famous scholars, uses DT Group as a model to study and analyze the strategy of capital export, to put forward a general idea of how DT Group enhance its competitive advantages through implementing the strategy of capital export and thus to discuss the strategy of the traditional communication enterprise strengthening their advantages.This paper consists of four parts. The first part gives a general introduction of the whole communication industry, studies and analyses the communication market in China, and investigates the goal and purpose of its strategic transformation. The second part uses DT Group as a model, analyses the whole macro environment, the influence of the government policy,market segmentation and development. On the basis of the research in the second part, the third part analyses the internal environment of DT Group, including operation, distribution channel, market and sales, customer service, and puts forward the importance and necessity of DT Group to implement the strategic transformation. The fourth part analyses the cases of the present capital export in DT Group, uses the related capital export theories to study and design the general idea of how DT Group implements the strategic transformation of capital export.The main contribution of this paper lies in the 3-dimensioned analysis and research of some cases in DT Group, putting forward rationalized suggestions and enhancing the competitive advantages through implementing the strategy of capital export. This not only applies to DT Group, but is also significant to the transformation of traditional Communication enterprise of other types in China.
