The Baosteel Seamless Tube Plant once was a dominance enterprise in chinese seamless steel tube industry.With the inereasing sales amount of Tianjin and Hengyang steel tube, the BAOSTEEL has been experienced a hard Period of time.In the next three years, BAOSTEEL will build two factories in Yantai and Xinjiang, and the sales amount will increase 1 million tons, which will be a big challenge to the marketing department.Under this given exterior environment and inside conditions, it will influence the survival and development of the corporation that the correct market strategy of steel tube industry can been draw or not.The writer use the market theory of Koter.PhiliP to systemically analyze the exterior environment such as the steel seamless tube market, the regional economic movement and the Purchase behavior of the steel seamless tube market.The SWOT method is used to evaluate the strengthes, weaknesses, opportunities and threats about the corporation. After research a great deal of market datum,the writer make the subsection of the steel seamless tube market,then confirm the target market of the corporation and the new 4P combination strategy.The new brought forward market strategy is making the client as center,EC as assistant tools,making the needs of the client satisfaction as core,and actualize product diversity as means.The new market strategy has an actual effect to the strategetic adjustment and long development of BAOSTEEL seamless tube industry.
